And right next to the mini-world, there is the sound of soft music and a dome comes to life in the “Minikosmos”, the digital planetarium.
Lights on! The spotlight comes on and you are right in the thick of it – either the impressive Pink Floyd Show or the romantic story of the magic reef as a 360° show with moving 3D images. A little later, the night sky appears with stars sparkling like diamonds. The star projector turns silently and takes every spectator on a journey into the huge expanses of space. Lean back in the comfortable armchairs, which can be moved in several directions and enjoy a glimpse of the firmament, regardless of the wind and weather outside.
The Minikosmos communicates scientific information, combined with the latest technology, and provides a unique experience.
Germany’s most modern planetarium has an inner dome diameter of 12 metres and there is space for about 85 people at each performance.
