Red Kite: Twisted Peek

Short facts

Accessible watchtower with landscape view

Twisted Peek by the Rotmilan group - Dominik Mendel and Toni Bettermann - stands in the landscape as a walk-in watchtower made of light-colored Douglas fir wood. With clear, constructivist forms, the sculpture frames sections of the surroundings and invites visitors to view the world from new perspectives.

The staircase leads to a height of four meters, where three narrow windows offer a view of Oberlungwitz and the Sachsenring. Like the high seats on the racetrack, they allow an overview and associations: Nature, art, movement, history. A place that opens up perspectives and awakens the imagination.
