The experience route "Wildenfelser Zwischengebirge" is a themed hiking trail. It partly follows already signposted local and connecting hiking trails and is marked with the symbol shown above.
The start and end point is the Ringbrand lime kiln in the upper village area of Grünau (municipality of Langenweißbach). The sponsoring association "Wildenfelser Zwischengebirge e.V." is involved in the partial renovation of the only preserved Ringbrand lime kiln and has created the experience route. There are parking spaces here and also a shelter with a seating area for a break.
Along the way, hikers can learn about both the history of limestone quarrying and the local history of the village of Grünau from ten large information boards. Additionally, the special features of the protected landscape area "Wildenfelser Zwischengebirge" with its distinctive flora and fauna are presented.
Along the way, there are numerous views of the beautiful landscape. The path is accessible year-round except in case of heavy snow.
