Shortly after entering Hartenstein, the railway tracks are crossed to the left, shortly thereafter reaching the distinctive Stein Fortress. Behind the fortress, keep left, cross the Zwickau Mulde again and immediately after the bridge turn right. Follow the road to the entrance of Langenbach, where a steep climb must first be overcome. At the highest point of the village, turn right onto Wildenfelser Straße. After about 500 meters, keep left in a right curve. Pass the allotment garden settlement on the left, continue along the path and after around 3 kilometers cross the railway tracks, along which you then ride parallel. At the Wiesenburg stop, cross the tracks again to the left, then pass the station on the right heading towards Silberstraße. At the end of the T-junction at the sports field, turn left, cross the B 93 and continue straight into Lindenallee, which turns into a gravel road up to the village of Haara. From there, it goes downhill to Wilkau-Haßlau under the motorway bridge. Continue on the road, then turn right onto Kirchberger Straße. After 300 meters, continue straight, thus leaving the main road before the bridge over the Zwickau Mulde. Follow the railway tracks. Shortly before entering Cainsdorf, cross the tracks to the right and immediately turn left again without changing sides of the Mulde. From here, the Mulde promenade is ridden closely along the river until the center of Zwickau. Continue on the embankment on the left side of the Mulde along the B 183. Heading north, pass the Paradiesbrücke, the Crossen weir, and the former railway bridge. At the next bridge, cross the Mulde into Schneppendorfer Straße. At the fork, turn left into Lange Straße and follow it for about 3 kilometers until crossing the Zwickau Mulde. Shortly after, turn left, follow the path for about 100 meters, then turn right and pass under the federal road bridge. In Schlunzig, take the third left turn into Schlunziger Hauptstraße, then pass on the right by the church. At the next T-junction, turn right. After 1.5 kilometers, Niederschindmaas is reached. Just after the entrance of the village, turn right. From here, continue straight, closely along the Zwickau Mulde, until Glauchau is reached after 3.5 kilometers. After the railway underpass, turn right onto Waldenburger Straße and then continue straight without changing direction.
