The town park in Lichtenstein is dominated by extensive idyllic gardens and a park with a small open-air stage on the Zill island, picturesque ponds, a Kneipp pool, and a children’s playground.
The park, which was designed more than 100 years ago, was thoroughly renewed and redesigned as part of the 1st Saxon Horticultural Show in 1996. The "Parkschlösschen" Hotel with its culinary delights and a wonderful beer garden encourage guests and visitors to stay longer.
The park takes visitors straight to the town forest, where various footpaths and circular paths encourage people to go for a walk. From here it is easy to reach the pavilion built on the Prince Otto-Victor hill in 1909 via the Croatenberg in a very short time.
