Mulde cycle route Glauchau-Rochlitz

The stage begins at Glauchau train station. From there, the Mulde cycle route is followed, which goes through Reinholdshain and Kleinbernsdorf. The route then continues towards Waldenburg, passing the Waldenburg Luther Church and onwards towards Niederwinkel. The route of the Mulde cycle path is followed to Hermsdorf. At the Wolkenburg Mining Association, the Zwickauer Mulde is crossed, then a right turn is taken and the route continues along the bank around Wolkenburg Castle. From there, the path continues to Tierbach. At the hydroelectric power plant, the bridge over the Zwickauer Mulde is crossed, then a left turn is made and the route is followed to Penig. In Penig, the Mulde is crossed again, then a right turn is made. After a short section, another right turn leads onto Amerikaweg, which leads to the district "Amerika". From there, the route continues towards Arnsdorf. At the fork at Rochsburg Street, a right turn is made and the street is followed up to just before Rochsburg. Then the Mulde cycle route along K8258 is followed to Lunzenau. Along the local history museum Lunzenau, the route crosses the Zwickauer Mulde to the railway museum “Zum Prellbock”. At the train station, a left turn is made and the route follows the bank of the Mulde until the Zwickauer Mulde must be crossed again near Gohren. Then a right turn is made and past the Göhener Viaduct the route continues towards Altzschillen. The route continues to Wechselburg, where a bridge is crossed again. The route passes Wechselburg Castle and continues to the cemetery. Shortly after the cemetery, a left turn onto the street “Siedlung” is taken and the route continues past Fischheim and Steudten to Rochlitz.
